When a neurodivergent child struggles, almost everyone looks at the child — what to fix, what to work on, what’s wrong. Neurokind Design begins somewhere else. We look at the space between your child and the world around them, and we ask a different question: not what’s wrong with them? But what is this room asking of them that they can’t easily give?

Because so often, what looks like a problem inside a child is really a mismatch outside them — between who they are and what a space demands. And a mismatch can be changed. Not by changing your child. By changing the world around them.

I’m Hami, and I come to this as a mother of neurodivergent children and an interior designer — not the makeover kind, but the kind trained to understand how deeply the spaces we live in shape us, and how the right space can hand a child back to themselves.

That’s what Neurokind offers: a new way of seeing your child, and their world, and everything that happens between them. It starts with who your child already is — their strengths, their sensory identity, the particular brilliance of how they move through their days. And it moves outward from there, toward a world built to honour them, exactly as they are.

Your child is worth designing a world around. Let me show you what that looks like.
