NEUROKIND DESIGN RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE

"I'm not an interior designer in the "traditional sense"...
but I use my interior design skills and knowledge to create resources for neurodivergent families to help them better understand their child's relationship to the physical, built, interior environments around them.

My primary focus is to help neurodivergent children and their families understand person-environment relationships through a neurodiversity-affirming lens.

My role is to help you understand your child's relationship to the sensory environment (what are their sensory preferences and how can they adapt and adjust sensory aspects of the environment to meet their needs), to help create spaces that celebrate your child's strengths and interests, and identify what sensory-spatial strategies might work best for your child to ensure they feel regulated and safe within their everyday environments.
My mindset is always looking for ways to shape space to help scaffold all the amazing things about your incredible neurodivergent child.
